This is the crossover model with the early low lights on the front and the later bigger lights on the back. It also has disk brakes on the front. I believe this is the only year to have the disk brakes and early front lights combination.

It is the tintop model and has L-shaped seating, which converts to a bed. It doesn’t have a cooker or fridge. It does have link ups for a leisure battery and has plug sockets all ready to go if you did want to plug in a small fridge.

It has a full stereo system. Just needs a head unit plugging in, but all the wires and speakers are there.

It has a 1641cc engine, which runs like a dream. It actually accelerates up hills! It also has electronic ignition, so you don’t need to fiddle around with the points anymore! Fitted with the monza four tip exhaust, which sounds great.

Surface rust on the sills and bottoms of doors, plus on the gutters, but this hasn’t got any worse over a very wet winter and it’s always best to see it rather than buying a freshly painted car that may have underlying problems.

Brand new MOT last month.

1967 Bay Window – No Expense spared restore.

A very original Bay window with charming original walk through interior. Great
social layout which can seat four in comfort at a central table. Table coverts
into bed a good sized double bed. No expense (£20k+) restoration to what was
already a very solid van. Some panel welding completed prior to complete
repaint. Front beam changed to add disk brakes, lowered slightly, rear drums
replaced, BRM Alloys. Propex Gas heater, new leisure battery system and
rerouted electrics for ICE, internal strip light and heater, new Alpine IPOD
head unit, Alpine amplifier + quad sound system. New Flamma bike rack, very
nice Motor Dome awning with internal sleeping compartment. Original swing out
dual burner hob with grill.

Hand built custom engine putting out 150+ BHP. All parts supplied by VW
