Well 2008 Dubfreeze show certainly lived up to its name. Ruddy Freezing.
Day started off with a 5.30AM alarm ringing..... NOT Good. On the Road at 6.15 for the 40 minute drive up the M6. Arrived bang on 7 o'clock, to find a big queue of Traders in front of me waiting to get in. Luckily this cleared very quick and i was starting to set up the stall by 7.20.
When the doors opened at 9am i could not believe the amount of VW Beetles and Campers already in the car park and the Huge queue already formed. With some swift work by the people on the door the queue quickly went.
As i was working on a trade stand it was difficult to guess the number of visitors but in the 15 years i have been selling at Dubfreeze (bugfreeze) It was definatley the busiest i have ever seen. All the traders i spoke to had done brisk business from start to finish and all the Public bar none spoke very highly of the show.
This is a 100% dead certainty for next year, just hoping the rest of the shows this season can be as well oragnised and as busy as this one.
